hello. does anyone know where I could find a free french course or at least where I could ask for such information?

well you should first introduce yourself and at least let us know where you live

If you are in Paris, you can take free French course through the City Hall. Ask there directly.
I remember that when i was working on the boats to pay my studies one of my colleagues was a German girl from Berlin, and she was taking free French course through the city hall.
