Arrival procedures at SSR with residence permit

Good morning. I do not work in Mauritius but I have a permanent residence permit. Do one still have to complete the arrival form at SSR if you have a permanent residence permit and if so, what should you put down as reason for visiting Mauritius?

i have a 3 year investor permit and still need the forms filled in. i put "resident" as reason for arriving here. not sure what rules are for permanent leave to remain.

Thank you for your reply Philip. I also thought to just put resident. I would say that it is self explanatory but you never know.

Hi all. If you have a valid RP then you are fully entitled to come and go as you like during the validity of the permit. There should not be any questions asked. And yes, writing 'resident' should suffice as reason to visit Mauritius. Have a great stay in Mauritius!

I have residence permit and simply put resident in the reason for arrival.
