Lizards in KSA

I don't like any kind of reptiles, including lizards. I know that Saudi, like other hot/tropical climates has lizards. However, are there any in or around the apartments?

in big cities lizard is seen once or twice a month, they normally come out in summer

Yep, summer is where they come out. I come across a lot in my houses (with gardens) in Bahrain and UAE but not so much in apartments. Similar situation for Saudi.

I am a local here. I’ve lived in Riyadh my whole life. I have never seen a lizard in the city or near houses and apartments. You’ll find them in the outskirts of cities as the desert begins. Inside the city you’ll rarely find rats too. What’s more common are household cockroaches, flies, and mosquitoes in the winter.
