Hi hope your all well. We are in England at the moment. Looking at moving to Morocco with our 5 children. Funny thing is we know nothing about morocco and have never been. So we are trying to find out the best options for us (please check my thread and give some answers if you can to help us out) and then we will hopefully visit a few places in the summer holidays and take things from there. See what we like etc.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Lacy and I currently live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Social Work and went on to obtain a certificate in Sports Social Work.

My boyfriend is Moroccan and we have been together over a year. He has lived here in the states for the past 5 years while getting his PhD in Aerospace Engineering. There is a big chance that we may be. relocating to Rabat within. the first few months of 2021.

We will start the mixed marriage process, so I know that I will appreciate all the help and knowledge from Expats who have gone though it.

My biggest concern about relocating to Morocco is medical care. I know there are excellent doctors there, but I really need to find a specialist of someone who is trained in Chronic Pelvic Pain. More than likely, this doctor will be a gynecologist.

If anyone has any recommendations, whether it is in Rabat or any other big city, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

Rabat is where the best of the best Of the medical specialists are. If you can afford it you can get the best. I hope this helps and good luck.

Hiya - I am an Australian woman dating a Moroccan man.  At some point after travel restrictions are lifted I'd love to move to Morocco for an extended stay.  I would need to work though - I am looking at TEFL at present but would be open to any advice.  Unfortunately I do not speak Arabic, Spanish and only a little French so I know job options will be limited.  I have been to Morocco a few times now and would like to know how people find it living there.

Vet51

Sorry forgot to mention I am an actual vet but know that working as a vet in Morocco is very hard to do.  I'm happy to have a go at anything as long as I could volunteer with animals in some way outside of work.

I just moved to Morocco from Chicago and most people here do speak some English most vets and doctors do speak English when I went there, sometime so use my phone to translate so didnt had much issue communicating here. You can simply go to vet places and ask for work

I just moved to Morocco and I can tell u one thing Do not move to the big cities like Rabat or Casablanca if u don’t want to pay a lot of $$$ for rent and food and be in a traffic 24/7 . Look for a place few min away from the cities where u can walk to stores so no car needed like in a center of kenitra or around there. Go to agency to find a place to rent , don’t  get scammed renting from people and u can always go back and forth to get better prices anywhere and most do speak some English
