It's perfectly doable.
Millions of people are using that line every years, without big issues

Now you can expect trains to be a bit late, strike, whatever...


The train line from Brussels to Anvers is pretty well served (brussels south/central/north - nearly every 15/30 minutes). (2 different types of train: nearly direct / stop at every stations)
