I want to know about agreement

Hi,
If i don't have an agreement. Will i not get justice? From labour Court.
Because I am facing Some issue that is not getting overtime, leave Salary, Air tickets, Medical Inc,
I ask to my manager about my agreement copy. He reply our company does not make any agreement..

Hi,

As a legal counsel, I face this kind of queries in our office. It is commonly in practice that employees do not receive the copy of employment agreement. Sometimes it creates problem in determining some basic questions as whether the employment relation exists, how much would be the basic salary and/or HRA etc. Thus, it is good practice to obtain a copy of the agreement from the employer.

However, even in the absence of an employment agreement, employment relationship can be established in specific situations considering certain facts and accordingly, such employee can get the benefits as prescribed in the Labour Law of Oman.

Thus, yes, you (SAVM) will be entitled to obtain the salary and other benefits under the Labour Law of Oman provided you click certain boxes to establish the employment relationship with your employer.
