Hey I was actually reading about this topic on another forum and it sparked quite a debat, so just wondering what people on here thought about it. Should bullying in Germany be a criminal offence? https://www.koerperverletzung.com/mobbi … Definition says that some acts ascociated with bullying are considered illegal i.e physical abuse ( obviously). What about online bullying though? I definitely think that should also be illegal, apparently it already is in America.

Like all reasonable juristdictions, Germany has laws against defamation, stalking, etc. which also apply to mobbing incidents.
Also like everywhere else, it is difficult to prove purely psychological mobbing (without defamatory expressions or physical abuse) beyond doubt.
And of course the regulations are behind technological change, so online mobbing poses special challenges.
