Decisions taken by the Government of Mauritius this morning 16th Of March:

>>> Foreign passengers coming from or who have transited through Réunion Island in the past 14 days will not be allowed entry into Mauritius as from tonight (Monday 16th March) at Midnight (Mauritius time).

>>> Foreign passengers coming from or having transited through the European Union countries, the United Kingdom and Switzerland in the past 14 days will not be allowed entry into Mauritius as from Wednesday 18th of March at midnight (Mauritius time) - (20:00 GMT).

In both cases, the new regulations will be in force for 2 weeks and will be re-evaluated depending on the situation regarding the coronavirus.

Where are you coming from?

You can change you travel plans to avoid France or any other country in the list for your transit.

Yeah. I might just take fly emirates. I will transit through Dubai.

BREAKING NEWS

3 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Mauritius.

Two of them aged 21 and 25 years of age, were employed on a cruise ship.

The third one is a 58 year old man who recently came to Mauritius from UK.

No traveler from abroad, including Mauritian citizens, will be allowed to enter Mauritius for at least 2 weeks starting today.
