"So far, the new coronavirus has led to more than 220,000 illnesses and more than 9,300 deaths worldwide. But that's nothing compared with the flu, also called influenza.
In the U.S. alone, the flu has caused an estimated 36 million illnesses, 370,000 hospitalizations and 22,000 deaths this season, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)."

Hopefully based on SARS-coV syndrom like-virus researches done worldwide in science labs, they soon shall develope a new vaccine for COVID-19 which several labs are already hands-on.

Unfortunately, according to the latest scientific news it will be globaly realeased no-earler than 1 and half year, due deeper researches, own virus-mutations, human case studies and final worldwide distribution financial costs.

Is there evidence that Covid19 results in antibodies ? That they appear not to be able to test for them yet, can’t say who has recovered, that seems the case.

If thar is so I suspect no vaccine can be developed

I do not have a medical nor scientific background so I would  appreciated a comment from someone who does.

For Spain particularly, the next set of changes likely to go through today are going to cause some real problems for the economy and peoples livelihoods - I don't think many of the roles around here can be done from home and it's already affecting the bars and restaurants.

Where we are it doesn't seem as rampant but the threat is real, everyone is taking it seriously - nobody is trying to get around the rules but a lot of people own farms and they do need to work every day.

Reading the articles and the image above, it's very scary as even with distancing and attempting to control things - some of the countries that have it which are tiny don't seem that likely that someone flew in from an infected country, maybe it's reaching these places by other means.

Stay safe! Hopefully Spain hits the peak very soon.
