I'm new to the forum.
In Spain I am nursing assistant, but in the U.S. that category does not exist ... is seen as "caretaker", a term less than my profession ... is that true?.
I asked the consulate and have confirmed.Hurt, because I like my job. But I would like to know if I can work in the hospital with this category, a Spanish Or any person who could inform me as a citizen.

really want this area because all my life I have dedicated to it.
I have worked in homes with people with dementia, Alzheimer's, disability ... CVA (stroke), and now I'm in a hospital with cardiovascular and respiratory pathologies.
A small part of medicine in this whole world of health sector encompasses.

I like my profession and would like to continue working on it.
If someone can tell me a bit to explain this situation.
