Setting up an NGO in Brazil - Any advice? Share your experience

Mrblobby

I am looking to start a discussing and looking for advice for setting up an NGO in Brazil, most likely Rio De Janeiro with the possibility of spreading to other states.

My wife is Brazillian, I am a resident, I am from the UK. I love boxing and it has been a big part of my life.

My idea for an NGO would be to set up/support boxing gyms and the sport in general across the city with the main target to support young lads and ladies with all the benefits training this wonderful sport can bring.

This is only an idea that I have been playing with in my head for the last year.

I'm looking for anyone to share their story or advice with whats it like to open an NGO here, work for an NGO or operate one, or any other piece of useful information that could be shared.

My e.mail is *** if anyone would like to private message me.

All the best.
