Hello,

My husband, myself and my two kids ( 8 yrs and 4 yrs) are moving to Al- Ain soon, we have been hired by the Future International Academy in Al- AIn. Can someone please give me detail information about that school. Also life sounds good in Al-AIn, how is accomodation? I am moving form United States and would need as much detail as possible please.

Hello saima_b and welcome to Expat.com! :)

I may suggest this page to you > Life in the United Arab Emirates guide.

I hope it helps and hope that other members will advice you soon.

Hi,
The best place to live in Al Ain is Al Mada Housing complex , and if you are looking for a villa Al Andalus housing complex is the best , they are managed and owned by Al Saqr Property Management and will not charge you any leasing fee.

I hope this was useful to you

Thank you so much. I am flying there on Friday. Would they have a problem showing available units to me (female) alone? We are moving there end of Aug and are extremely pressured for time. My husband is away for business. I am going to sort a few things before we pack in SA, and housing and schools are on the top of my list.

If you are on Facebook, join Al Ain Swap and Shop Properties. It is run by Akram Matboue. Very good guy. He will help you.

Thanks Carny. I joined yesterday. I have send him a message, but haven't heard anything yet. Thought maybe it's because I'm  requesting a view without my husband... Will try again today. Thanks for the feedback.

Dear Mignonne1975,

i would like to inform you that this thread is outdated. I suggest you to start a new topic on the Al Ain forum.

For your accommodation research you can post an advert in the Housing in Al Ain section. For school i suggest you to have a look on our existing topic on Schools & studies in Al Ain forum.

Good luck,

Stéphanie
