Enass Badly

Hello,
I have moved from Lebanon, with my husband and baby to Istanbul from 7 months ago, due to the very bad economy crisis in our country.
We came here to try getting up on our feet again, as it was the easiest choice and most affordable country, due to the bad financial stage we had gone through.
Our plan was with a Turkish citizen who wanted to invest  his money with My husband by opening a restaurant due fo my husband successful life career and strong skills.
However, unfortunately till that man was going to start the business, the epidemic days started and now for sure th plan is dead.
My husband took a job in his career as an executive chef, in Arabic restaurant, to pay our monthly bills on January.
As Corona virus started, we had no income for three months, till he lost his job as the restaurant hired staff with cheap salaries.
Now we are in big loss, can't find descent job as per his huge experience, can't find investor for new restaurant and have blurred future in this country.
And not to forget our two years baby, who needs vaccines and my pregnancy which needs big care and hospitality, but we can't afford in this bad situation.
It took me long to decide writing this post, as I have never shared such private isuues eith anyone, I really would appreciate the expatriates advice and the members help!
PS: The ex job have applied to permanent residence for us before Corona started, however, we didn't get a specific date for the interview and now the application status is unknown.
So we are still not Residents.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Enass

very sorry about yr situation but there are a lot of people as same as yours. i admire your courage but if i were you, i would have returned back to my home country months ago. home is always better than abroad with relatives and acquaintances instead of strangers and foreigners. with a baby and pregnancy, you should have had a B, even a C plan. why yr husband didnt accept to work under reduced salary? do you believe that you can get any support with normal conditions? i wouldnt trust. there are many turkish families too who need support before expats. and on the contrary, there may be cheaters to get benefit over you, be careful. the tourism season has already started and i think you are luckier than many others as yr husband is needed in the sector. maybe you can go to more touristic areas like antalya, aydın, muğla, etc. or maybe the best way is to contact some lebanese communities for assistance.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties.
I muself am here in Turkey with cicitzenship BUT I am far from ALL my children...
I have been semi stuck here for the past 2 years, and fully stuck here since 5 months...my kids are in saudi arabia and Australia. I have not been in full contact with my kids in saudi for over 2 years. I have NO contact with my kids in Australia in 3 yrs.
Theres a massive hole in my heart.
But its beyond my control.i have high hope in God that I will be reunited with them all soon....
Sometimes we need to look at the best things in life to see how blessed we are.
And that is loved ones and health...
For there is no riches above these.
