Electronic Security In Germany

Post new topic

Jammin40

Hi, I’ve lived in the UK my entire life and have been working with electronic security for over 20 years.

I’m keen to move over to Germany for many reasons but I am curious about the availability of work within the electronic security industry both from an employed point of view and a self employed.

Ideally I’d like to work for myself but have no idea what the average pay rate is for this line of work, is there even a demand for security in Germany like there is in England?

Would really appreciate any help, comments and suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Electronic security is as big a topic here as elsewhere.
Since it's not my industry, I cannot tell you the ratio of employees to freelancers in the field. But, obviously, language is the key for most chances in both cases. So how good is your German?

German is something I definitely need to learn but I’m hoping to do so within a year.

That will be an intensive year if you want to reach B2 or C1 level. But your job application chances will be vastly increased after that!
