I always leave for 3 months to return to the UK every 6 months and have been caught up in this world wide travel ban.

Has anybody found a way around getting back into Vietnam to get back with their wives?

There is no way as you are not a citizen of VN.

Impossible, human rights are unknown by the vietnamese government.

In Thailand, in Cambodia, etc, yes, married people can come back (with quarantine).

They also have to pay a 4000 usd deposit to do so.

Simple.. change name to a Chinese sounding one and pay to smuggle in

do you not have a marrage visa so can enter? I thought being married meant you have a 5 year visa so dont need visa on entry just like having a TRC can come as long as you do the quarantine?

It goes on citizenship, not marriage.

Both of your suppositions are currently incorrect.

Not unless you are an expert and your employer petitions the government. You weren't giving us any other special information about you so we are referring to the basic rules in place now

There are no exemptions in place for holders of TRCs. You leave, you want be coming back in.

I remember news last month about 6 countries allowed soon to send experts, investors, etc, with only 1 flight per week per country (Cambodia, Thailand, China...) from August.

It means there is no flight from Europe. Sometimes there is a special flight to bring back Vietnamese, diplomates and some hight experts, but it's exceptional, because officially the border is closed.
