What is a good amount to save every month working in Bahrain??
is BD 500 considered to be decent to save every month and by saving I mean which is absolutely not needed except in extreme emergencies (that too maybe).

Hi rizoo!

I hope that you will soon be given replies to your query.

Harmonie. :)

500 in not enough
1000 is not bad

rizoo

thanks Bachar, but BD 1000 in savings every month for me is not possible. I guess you're making loads of money in Bahrain or not paying a lot for your accommodation. I'd have to be earning over BD 3000 to save at-least BD 1000 every month.

Hi Rizoo...

My guess is there are as many good answers to your question than  people asking it :D
It depense on your project... Do you plan on staying here for a short or a long time ? Would you rather enjoy good life and save less or spend the less you can to save more ?
I've seen all kind of expats, some are spending most of their income because they want to enjoy, some prefer to stay 2-3 years working hard, living in a small flat but saving as much as they can. I believe everyone know what's good for them and I will certainly not start to be judgemental :D
So I guess you'll have to find an answer on your own !

Hope next time I'll be able to help a little more than that  ö_Ô

Friendly yours

Olivier

Hi Rizoo, your savings per month will depend on life style. What are your goals(short term/long term)? Is 500bd/month enough for you to obtain your goals?

we can say 500bd/month is enough and we can say its not enough but at the end of the day you should answer your own question :)
