Post new topic

Hi, I am an expat in KL. I'm looking for a medical insurance cover for my wife. She also a foreigner like me. My company's health insurance does not cover her.
Anyone can recommend me a good insurance provider?

I used to use an insurance agent, so the insurance company I used sometimes changed if one with better conditions came along. The last one was Pacific Insurance. The premium happened to be good and they also paid quickly. For example, when I was hospitalized for spinal surgery (a slipped disc) at Pantai Hospital in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Pacific Insurance paid my bill directly to the hospital at check out, so I didn't need to pay anything myself.

I remember that the insurance premium I paid for the whole family including myself in my late fifties, my wife and my two young children was around RM4,600 per year in 2014 which was for a private room. Sorry, I don't remember the individual premiums for each family member but my wife's premium was much lower than mine.
