Relocation of teenager

Have any of the families on this group relocated to France with teenage kids? My three years old son is born here and attends school and "well adjusted". My soon to be sixteen year old daughter lives in South Africa with my parents. She is in grade 10, and I want her to join us. I however worry about school, will she adjust? I think she will need to take a year formally learning French, but will that suffice? I don't want to put her under unnecessary strain, but I suspect this might be good for her in the long run.
I look forward to your contributions.

If you are able then I would let her move to France. Even if she doesn't pick up enough French with a year of private lessons, she can still retake her Baccalaureate again later. My concern would be to enroll her into a less traditional french school and opt for one with more modern thinking.

to my experience Khethi you must follow your heart and not fear the outcome. YOu want her hapiness and it'll make you both stronger in life.
We moved from Flemish Belgium to France with a daughter of 15 and even though she had the need for a period of adaption, she found her way, made new friends and finished school. And the good side ... English is really a + out here because (sorry you guys) French people have a real hard time with it :)
