I looked but I did not see a previous post but I apologize if this is a repeat. I am happy to remove if you can point to the right post

I was looking to return to Vietnam through setting up a company and then sponsoring myself for a DT Investor visa. I have spoken to a lawyer. I am unsure how to know if the lawyer and his law firm is legitimate. Anyone have suggestions on how to find this information or comments of who they have used for legal services in the past that I could trust

Are you doing this just to obtain a visa?

I remember the OP from this thread he started almost a year ago;

Appears that he sincerely wants to work and not just get a Visa

A friend of mine did the same thing in Dec 2017 (deposited 1 billion, set up a company, acquired a 5 year TRC).  He used Hãng Luật Minh Mẫn aka Min' Man Law Firm.  He later recommended it to an American and that man also had the same TRC.

Both men are legitimate investors, i.e. the businesses are real and they're actively involved in the daily running.  My friend opened 2 restaurants (one he later sold) while running a TV sports and entertainment consulting agency, plus another agency specialising in education tours to Bhutan.  I emphasise the legitimacy of the business because the government is tracking down people who abuse the true purpose of investor visa.

If you contact me via PM, I'll send you a photo of the lawyer's business card.
