Hi everyone, I'm looking to move to Canada on a year or 2 but struggling to find the right place to relocate too, there are so many wonderful places, I'm looking for a smaller town with a good high school for my 12 year son and job prospects. I usually work with animals, horses or environmental jobs but willing to do anything. My problem is will I be able to afford the cost of living just on my salary and rents seem quite high as does owning a car etc. It's my dream but don't want to have to return to the UK because I can't afford to live. We are moving to give ourselves a better life. Any advice anyone can give I'd be grateful. Thank you.

Hi there,

I have heard about such place being exist(hard to believe) but it might be true.
Quesnel, British Columbia
This place is small, have good schools, diversed job opportunities available and cost of living is one of the lowest places in Canada. Now if you ask me it sounds like too good to be true but the person who was talking about this place was pretty convinced and excited about Quesnel,BC
I personally have been to Vancouver island(Victoria) and found it fairly priced beautiful, peaceful place to live. People was very nice and helpful, life seemed to be moving slower and steady phase. I got a job right after  The moment I started to think that finding a job is not always about what you want,it sometimes is about what is available to you.

Wish you the best on your journey.
