What is the Pensionado visa?

hello, I am reading posts today about Rentista Visa.

I'd like to know what the "Pensionado visa" is or whatever it's called.

Suggest you read up on all of the types of residency.
In a nutshell, for Pensionado status requires a 'guaranteed for life' payment of at least US$1000 per month . Note: in my opinion, this isn't enough to comfortably live on though.

Hello,

It is not a visa, it is a residency status. Ounce approved it is temporay residence for 2 years, renewable for another 2 year. After 3 years you can ask for permanent resident. Research it on google for specific requirements, you will also find other types of residency status.
