so does anyone know of any golf courses around here in khobar/dammam area?

There is one per my knowledge... in Aramco compound.

That is the only one I came across in Eastern Province

My best bet is to drive to either Bahrain or Doha to play golf.

I'm sure when I was flying into Dammam airport I spotted a sand golf course about half way between the Aramco course and the airport?

Anyone any ideas if this could be a course? I'm itching to have a game!

Any update on golf in the eastern province? I'm on my there this week and have been debating if I should even think of bringing my clubs.
