Finding "specific" jobs - no iGaming or IT

Post new topic

JaniJules

Hello guys,

complete newbie here. I am from Germany and we (my partner and I) are considering moving to Malta. We know that there are many jobs in the iGaming sector you could start a solid living right away with, more or less no matter what educational and vocational career you have attained so far.
But, as we have invested time and money to redirect our vocational opportunities, we would not just like to move to Malta but try to find jobs we have ourselves prepared for, you know what I mean? ;)

So plain and simple: I have a B.A. or undergraduate degree in theatre and English studies and would like to work in the field of arts management or theatre/ cultural/ arts institution.
My boyfriend works as an officer at the fire department ( Beamter Leitstelle) and is going to finish his B.Sc. degree in hazard prevention  management, with focus on desaster and emergency management.

Maybe s.o. knows where to look or ask specifically, or what kind of keywords we need to look after? (of course, have searched the web before but maybw looked in the wrong corner)
Any help or advice appreciated, thank you very much :)

Welcome to the Forum, unless you have visited Malta before I would suggest you come here, once everything goes back to normal, for a holiday to see whether you would like living here.
You may find that both of you are over qualified for work here.

Thank you for your advice. We have already been several times in Malta and so far liked it :)
I am afraid you might be right regarding the qualifications.
