Hi all,

My objective is to live and create an import-export company in Paraguay.

What is the amount ( expressed as a percentage of the product's value ) that you pay in Paraguay when you order a produce from Amazon.com through Borderlinx or one of its competitors ? I am not referring to the official customs tax ( available on the internet ) but to the real customs tax : the official customs tax + the customs commission.

When you order a product in the United States of America through BHL or one of its competitors, do you have to pick up the product at Asuncion airport or is it delivered to the post office from your home as provided for in the contract ?

Thank you very much.

IT all depends on what and where you are shipping from, I'm a American living in Paraguay and throughout the years I purchased many thing either in large (Bulk) quantities or single items but the custom taxes varies about on how you ship it here my resent purchase was a CNC Machine built and imported from China and for a machine that costed me over $8.000 US dollars I paid almost $1.500 or 10 million Gs. So it all depends on how you get it here..Ivan
