I am an Irish citizen planning to retire to Brașov. Is it possible for me to pay into the state health insurance scheme? What other options are available and at what cost.

well it depend the option you want to take and The average monthly cost of health insurance was $574 per month and family coverage averaged $1,634.

That's more than the rent for an apartment. I am more interested in the state system as I hear that healthcare in Brasov is ok.
