Employment Pass Pending _40+ days

Dear Forum memebers,

I resigned from a company after getting an offer letter from other company. The new company was confident to get an Employment pass within few days. My EP application was submitted in Dec 2020, Its been more than 40days and still my application is pending. I am worried now as my Short term pass will expire in Feb. Has anyone one got approval recently and how many days roughly its taking from MOM these days. My company followed up with MOM and gave them necessary documents. MOM said will take 2-3 months time!! Is this due to lot of applications with MOM now?

why would you even resign before next EP approval ? And that too during COVID period !!

If MOM says will take 2-3 months then there's nothing anyone can do. It's upto MOM that they can approve today itself or take their own time.

You can ask for STVP extension on the grounds of no flight available.

Good luck. Hope your EP is approved sooner. I applied on 30th December 2020 and it was approved on 31st Dec 2020.
