Visas for Common Law Partners in Mauritius

Post new topic

KS5678

Good day everyone

My boyfriend is a Mauritian Citizen, we are currently living in South Africa.

For us to be united, beside getting married, what type of visa should we apply for or any other methods for a longer stay?

Thank you.

the document you need to obtain (either in South Africa, or via sworn affidavit in Mauritius) is a so-called “Certificat de concubinage” (Certificate of cohabitation)
source: https://www.edbmauritius.org/sites/defa … ndents.pdfhttps://companies.govmu.org/Documents/G … _occup.pdf

paragraph G of the above document refers to:
“unmarried partners, document proving cohabitation/civil partnership/common law partners etc is required.”
