After registering on "Enterhungary" site I have a copy of the help guide which is very good. Those that have successfully applied for the new card, can you tell me if you have a wife/partner I assume we have to apply for the new permanent card separately, is that correct. I know you can include 2 persons for the final interview at your local immigration centre. Thank you.

Apologies, very unclear, are you actually married, do you both have EU or even Schengen nationality, do you have enough funds, ....
A bit of background might help, sometime things are easy, sometimes they are not

Can you speak Hungarian?  If so, why don't you apply for citizenship?

I have no idea what your status is as a ex-EU memeber from the UK would be here.
If one of you is a HU citizen that I have dealth with that.

I’m a Boston guy considering a move to Hungary from Florida and interested in your experience and suggestions. Single so I’d move alone and would be thrilled to connect with the American expat community. I don’t speak Hungarian yet but would be willing to learn, of course. How did you do it? Thanks so much!

You shouldn't share your phone number.  Suggest you edit it out.
