Can anyone give me a heads up on a good moving company with a fair price where I can move furniture from New York to the Dominican Republic been looking online some of the numbers I've seen have been ridiculously overpriced can anyone help me thank you very much I appreciate anything from anyone can

How much furniture do you have ?

Can you use a 20ft container?
A freight forwarder will ship it for you.

The international moving companies are all horribly overpriced. They are used primarily for corporate moves I think. We U-Hauled our stuff down to Miami ourselves and dropped it with a shipper there. Or you could use an interstate mover. Then the 20/40 foot containers are not that expensive to get to DR. The import duties and clearing customs is another matter.

Try talking to Hispaniola Freight in Sto Dom.....

They may be able to do it all.... they do the customs work
