Has NOC in Oman abolished?

Hi,

I would like to know if NOC rule in Oman has been abolished by ROP. It was supposed to be abolished in Jan 2021 but when people are trying to switch jobs ROP is still asking for NOC.

And if it has been abolished what is the procedure to change the Visa?

As of now NOC rule still exist, But they are working on it. soon we can expect that they ll remove NOC rule fully. so whenever your planning to resign or Planning to change visa please make sure you take NOC from your sponsor. also make sure that you collect company CR copy and signed person's Residence card's photocopy also for supporting documents.
