Spass rejected

If my spass rejected, is there any levy to refund to the company?

garceinpink

Nelgie,

There is  no levy yet until your pass has been issued. For your case, if it's a new renewal, the employer spent $105 for the spass application.

Nelgie Baccay

Thank you for your reply.. what i mean is my extension for spass will expire on May 12, and the second appeal was rejected last monday. So no levy is it?

surya2k

No levy till your pass is approved. By the way why do you have so much concern about whether levy is going to be paid by your employer or not? Do they ask you to pay!

Nelgie Baccay

NO, they do not ask me to pay.. anyway thank you so much for clarification😊 appreciate it😊

Any levies and application fees must be paid for by the employer - NOT by the employee!

Just seems odd that your concern on the levy where the company is the one paying that.

There are some unscrupulous employers, or in more cases employment agencies, trying to charge it to the employee (which is against the law!) - and enough desperate job-seekers who basically agree to anything.
