turn the contract down after signing it

Hi everyone!
I am expat in malaysia and having a case and would like to take your consultaion , recently i received offer from a compayny in malaysia , after i signed the contract i relized that they didn't get the approval to hire expat yet so the process will take around 2 month more.
while i was waiting i got another offer from another company with alot of benifits and they already have the approval to hire expat.
my question is can i opt out from the first contract without any issue ? is there any possibality from the first company to sue me ?
Note : i went through the first contract and there is no section said that there is Penalty clause if i break the contract down , just need to give notice period.
