Can I apply for an apprenticeship while enrolled in a B1 course?

I have been in Germany for 10 months now and am wanting to apply for an apprenticeship (Ausbildung)  but as some of you might know one of the requirements for the application is a German B1 level title.
Due to Covid19, my German lessons have currently been suspended until the school finds a new method of teaching meaning I will achieve my German B1 level after Ausbildung application deadlines and after most Ausbildungs begin.

Has anybody been able to apply for an apprenticeship and able to present the B1 title after applying for the Ausbildung?

Any information will be highly appreciated.

With most schooling now done online, I don’t think “I cannot attend classes due to COVID” is an acceptable excuse.
If your school doesn’t offer it, look for another provider of online language classes!

Try to apply or ask for requirements. It depends what Ausbildung you wanted to enrol. If its high demand for Labor Market maybe you can go into. Currently, I was just asking the requirements for my practicum and theory to be fully Annerkant Nurse here. And i am looking for an Employer to finance my adaptation course too. After several of inquiries, this Employer wanted me to take in eventhough i haven’t finished my B1. So meaning i will start my theory and practicum and the same time completing my B1. Some Employers wanted me to have started B2. Viel Erfolg!

I would suggest contacting the organization running the program you want to enroll in and simply asking what their actual requirements are and what exceptions might be made. And they might be able to suggest alternative schools offering online German courses in your area - or live ones if available.
