Do we need NOC

They still require NOC. The news about it was fake. So many people stuck coz they cannot come back. Either you go back to your same company or wait next month if they will really implement the new rule. But now so many protest happening in Oman. Hopefully they resolve the issue soon.

I tried getting NOC as well. I even complain to the ministry and labor law. But they cannot do anything because it's private company policy. So our only hope is if next month they will really implemebt the new rule and give new visa.

Hello. Im still in oman and doing my clearence, i have resigned. But my new employer asking my company to approve like application i dunno what they call. Its for visa transfer. So actually no more NOC. But still company didn’t give. Im confused

It's like a release letter. I don't know also what kind of process they do. As for me I already left the country so my visa was cancelled by previous employer. Now Im waiting for my new visa with new employer.

As of now you still need NOC for changing your Employer, also there is no clear month/date mentioned for NOC removal. but they ll remove NOC rule for sure. since from government side the rule is passed. but in ROP side they are still implementing it.

my advice would be request your employer for NOC, if they still don't give wait for NOC removal official news from ROP side.

So there no more banned for 2 years if we exit the country and cancelled the  visa? How it works? U gkt ur new visa from ur new employer?

They said in the news that NOC not needed since January. But they did not updated it in ROP and visa offices yet. My new employer trying to get me a new visa without NOC so I'm waiting for it. But there's still no assurance coz now a lot of protest going on in there due to Omanization.

No 2 years ban for sure. U can come back only after the existing visa has expired in ROP system. Still no clarity how to switch jobs
