Hello,myself Amal from India,currently doing mechanical engineering (uG). I am planning to pursue masters in Germany . Will I get an admission in any public university ? what are the minimum requirements ? When I asked consultants in kerala ,India they are trying to lure me into private universities and tells that public universities require 95 plus cgpa in graduation course.Please respond .

Private Universities are not better than public ones in Germany but cost much more. But to justify the cost they offer more programs taught in English. Otherwise, most University programs are taught on a very high level of German. But Beppi has provided good linbks to how the application process works.

i would advice u to continue to get master's degree in germany,despite the advice u mentioned,don't give up because germany has many prestigious universities that meet ur ambitions.
