Hi

Just wondered if anyone knows whether if when you are buying a property in Cyprus your solicitor can arrange the connection of your water, electric etc. ready for you.

Yes he can and will do so as part of the house buying process as we are going through this process now.. mainly only water and electricity and you sort out your own internet and tv services. It’s actually part of the due diligence on ensuring that the property is without any encumbrances ie mortgage or loans water bills electric bills communal charges or any other charges that may be outstanding including sellers tax clearances
