Job prospects for females residing on family visa

Hello everybody,

This is Pritha and I am quite new to this forum as well as to the norms of Muscat. Kindly help me to get through.

My husband works in Muscat for the past 5 years and apparently, I will move there too soon ( depending on Covid 19 situation).

Could anybody tell me whether it's possible for female expats to start a business or apply for a job there if they reside on family visa?

It's illegal to do job on family joining visa.. if you will get job in oman then you can change your family joining visa to new employee visa..
