First of all, it is not whether Morocco is open or not for tourism, is the most important thing for you to know, rather, whether if your country has allowed travel to and from your country-Morocco? If the answer is no you cannot even if Morocco is open for tourists.

It is not only low/high Covid risk is the reason for lifting/putting entry bans between countries, but, trading between countries and trading interests in one country for the other country or how one country's economical situation would suffer/gain if the other country is on ban etc. are also facts i.a. that effect lifting entry restrictions between countries. In the (big) business world there are things that we common people have no idea about.

I came across all that when I went through the list of the countries where Swedes can travel at the moment, and why one country is allowed while an other country is not, for instance for Swedes Morocco is not allowed at the moment while Thailand is allowed!

That makes sense.

My country (Denmark) allowes flights to and from morocco.
It says on various websites that morocco won't allow entry for foreigners coming in with flights from France and Holland, where we would have to take a connecting flight.

We contacted the moroccam embassy here, and they say they update the restrictions every Friday, but its nowhere to be found what the updates are.

So i want to know if the moroccan authorities have set a date when the ban on international flights with foreigners/tourists will be lifted :)

Ok so you have already been vaccinated! Because according to website of Danish ministry of foreign affairs you are allowed to travel from and to all over the world-Denmark only if you are vaccinated, if not as for Morocco there is almost the same restrictions as from Sweden's side. https://um.dk/da/rejse-og-ophold/rejse- … r/marokko/ (Not recommended is a very polite diplomatic term according with democratic laws to say simply No :D)

However from Morocco's side it has been open for visa-exempt countries since sometime but their Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Air Transport and Social Economy strictly refers to check with the airline you are planning to travel with and with the local embassy to know exactly updated report for the respective country in the time of travelling. And to know the exact procedur for tourists here  https://mtataes.gov.ma/fr/bienvenue-au- … -securite/
And if you are interested in the latest covid report in the country here  http://www.covidmaroc.ma/Documents/BULL … VID-19.pdf

held og lykke!

In this particular case I don't think anyone can predict it exactly but surely many are hoping for the best! I personally have to wait even longer because I am planning to drive from Sweden, that means many border crossings.
