New Expat offer from Star Energy

Hello all,

I was offered a position with Star Energy apparently. But in order to apply for a visa I have to buy global insurance to go along with the visa application. This seems like a scam to me. I want to make sure if this is a common situation or process in Indonesia?

And it is sad that this is my first experience as a trades man in these type scams. But its great you have this forum! And yes there are marketable and creditable companies that are the victims of scammers too.
