Transferring BHD to UK GBP account

Hello,

What is the best way to transfer / convert from my BHD account here in Bahrain, to my GBP account in the UK?

You can do an electronic transfer from your bank account directly. Or through an exchange like BFC. Depends on where you get better exchange rates and lower charges.

I don't do it this way. I transfer from my HSBC account in BHD to my Citibank account in BHD. Then I move it to my Citibank Singapore account - since it's internal transfer, I get good BHD to USD rates. From there, I transfer into GBP as I don't pay any transfer charges and the rate is as per international market.

I have in both Citibank and Lloyds. But I transfer into Lloyds usually.
