Anyone know about vaccines for expats? I was told we have to go to Jakarta to get a vaccine and pay for it. Is this true? I can' t find any info and I am in Yogyakarta. I don't want to get the vaccine from China. How can I fly to Jakarta if a vaccine certificate is needed?

Its not possibile to buy a vaccine, its illegal unless u work for a Company, there Is a sprcific program for that.
If u are on Kitas or Kitap and u have the SKTT or the KTP with a NIK (wich Is mandatory), u can get the jab in a pubblic facitility in Jogya.
I don't want the Chinese vaccine the government uses. I want to get one of the others. In Thailand they were selling Moderna vaccine in hospitals so I thought maybe something like that was here in Indonesia. The Thai hospital sold out in a few hours that's how popular it was. I have not heard of anything like that here. So far there is only the Chinese vaccine available here but I won't get that one I don't think.

Here Is also available for free Astrazeneca, wich Is used more than the chinese Sinovac, u can get that if u like it.
Is arriving also some million of doses of Moderna and Pfizer, but they will give only to medical staff and child under 18 yo.
I haven't been offered any vaccine and I don't know of anyone who ask. No one seems to know exactly where and when it is offered. An Indonesian told me it was only being offered to Indonesians for free and expats would have to pay for the vaccine.
Ya, nobody Is offering vaccine, Indonesian must register themself, Exapat must show to a vaccination point and get it for free if they have Kitas or Kitap with SKTT or KTP wich have a NIK that Is required for the registration.
Of u fill that requirements, u can go to the nearest Puskemas and get the jab for free.
Hi, do you know where someone could get AstraZeneca? I have asked around a lot, but haven't yet found, any information regarding this would be very useful for me. I have already taken my first dose of AstraZeneca in my home country and desperately need my second dose of AstraZeneca here in Indonesia as i am unable to travel back to my home country because of travel restrictions.

Ur welcome, let us know if u find what ur looking for.
We have had our jabs over 3 months ago ,
why would the police check jabs before giving sim ? most of the country is struggling to find covid inoculations , Illogical .
My wife doubts the voracity of this .
