Hi,
Does anyone have a rough idea of how much an expat teacher makes in an international school in Jakarta?

Let say someone with 2-5 years of teaching experience under his/her belt.

Thanks

Hi,

Is there any age limit for TESL teachers in Indonesia or for issuing work permits or a limited stay visa ( assume that's the right one..unsure) ?

I contacted the Indonesian embassy and also tried chatting onln. w/ Imigrasi earlier today, but after 1 h, no one replied to.

@nikolatr71 chances of a job in TEFL is near zero it seems now, at least from what I heard from family connections running a school. Hard to get work permits.

The biggest schools eg EF are the best to approach. Salaries are low at 1,000 USD at best.
