Question about INGOs and taxes

Hi everyone,
If someone holds dual citizenship (Jordanian/American) and is hired as an American to work for an international organization in Jordan (for example, GIZ or USAID), what happens to their Jordanian taxes? Do they still have to pay regular Jordanian rates when their salary is coming from an organization outside the country?

The scale for internationals/expats is much hire than most local hires, so even a salary considered low outside of Jordan would be taxed at a very high rate here... trying to figure this out, would appreciate any advice from people with experience in this.
