Electricity charges on induction cooktop

Hello everyone, i want to know if electricity charges appear more if we use electric cooktop in Mauritius… iam new to Mauritius and looking for flats but all new houses have got this electric cooking station. I would be grateful if anyone can help me out in this

Hello Janerosejohn123,

If it is specified in the advert that rent includes utility bills (electricity, water etc) the amount is fixed, however if not specified, yes charges will depend on your electricity consumption. Any appliance using electricity contributes to building up charges.

Gerard.. is there a gas network with piped gas into homes?
In the same sort of way there is an electric network.
