Welcome to the forum. Where are you originally from and why do you want to stay in Malta?
How many times did you come to Malta before and why do you think Malta is the right place for you.?

As a TCN if you come on a tourist visa you will have to leave after 90 days.
If you find a job whilst here your prospective employer would apple for the work permit but you are no  longer a tourist and should leave the country whilst it is processed, if granted, you can then get residency on a yearly basis.
The other way to obtain residency is by self sufficiency if you can prove you have sufficient funds to support yourself without working, but this is not guaranteed and again is on a year to year basis.

Any jobs are offered firstly to locals, then EU citizens and lastly TCN's.
