Is it true if you bring your dog to belieze you cant bring back into u.s. ?

IF, that is true, it's a recent change.
I know several snowbirds that bring their dog back and forth with them every year.

However we have not been back to our 2nd Home in Placencia since May of 2020.

yea, that's going to be a problem
"Beginning July 14, 2021, there is a temporary suspension for dogs imported from high-risk countries for dog rabies." - from the CDC website. Yes, Belize is considered a 'high-risk' country. Not sure what the deal is here, but that will be a problem for me.
