Permanent visa for kids 16 years old

same process you bring him before as your dependent (Family Visa) , else bring him on visit visa for 3 months which can be extended twice for 3 months each means he can stay here for 9 months and then go back and come back again on new visit.
but on visit visa you he can not study here, but yes you will save money for tax of family visa and also cost of famliy visa

Visit visa can be converted into permanent visa if anyone wants to do this he submit required documents and pay 2000 Sar fee and can convert his kids visit visa to permanent visa or iqama.
It's allowed only for kids not another relative even wife.

I think i read your case in a diffrent way, now what i understand that your family is in KSA but you already put FINAL EXIT for them and they did not leave till now and you want to hold your son only,

Yes you can do it as you are his kafeel so you can go to absher and cancel his final exit if 2 months are not passed and he is still in saudia
