I believe it's a 20% discount per year old the car is. We imported a 2019 model in 2020 and got a 20% discount. So the older the car, the bigger the discount since you'll get less use out of it!
We still had to pay the normal 18% fee for the first plate on the car. That's whether you import or buy it here.
