hi I have just arrived in south africa an i am looking for a job in the hospitality industry and i also need to know how do a person get around here to go for intervies I live in parow north

Hi.

Do you have a work permit? It is very difficult to get a hotel/restaurant to provide you with a work visa. You can look for employment on Gumtree.co.za
About getting around, you gotta take taxies.. I would advice you to move closer to town, also working in hospitality (the hours) makes it difficult to live fare from where you work if you do not have a car. Also money is not good in hospitality if youdo not have very good qualifications and experiance.
