Post new topic

Poolnoodle

Hi all,

Still waiting for update, does anyone know which date document they are currently on for single permit.

My time line

Application: 31st july

NoReply e-mail: 31st july

WP: waiting

RP: waiting

abdouhz94

@Poolnoodle I have the same timeline as yours and I'm still waiting with no updates !

bc2910

Is there anyone who applied in August or September to Brussels region? I am wondering how much time it takes to receive the work permit nowadays.

single permit

Hi,

I got my work permit today (Flanders region), should I proceed to get a D visa or should I wait for the single permit?

aldishuli

@single permit You must wait for the residence permit also.

When did you apply for the single permit?

Guest7834

@bc2910,

My application in Brussels was at the end of July, but I received the social security/no reply email at the beginning of August.

I received my WP last week, after a little scare (see my last 5/6 posts above; I believe you even responded to one).

I saw 2 posts yesterday with their Annex 46 being approved in a little over eight weeks after the WP permit approval. So, it seems like the wait time has reduced a bit. Well, I hope it has.

@All

What are the fastest communes in Brussels to  obtain annex 49 .

Thanks in advance

Khoubeib Tahenti

it is a Win Win situation; we apply for work permit and for sure some of us are highly graduated and we will pay TAX for belgium government and employer are happy or for sure he will be happy of earning more money.

I don't know why the process is so slowly  , Hey begium services are you aware about the importance of your duties ?

Final Update

Brussels

application : May 10

WP: June 23

RP: Sep 8(but only received today)

Guys, I finally got my annex 46 today, which was issued on the 8th Sep, but received today.

In my case, the Immigration office still haven't send the copy of final decision to my employer,

But the embassy told me that they received it directly, therefore I got my visa D straight away as well.

I know how much it's frustrating to wait such a long time, so I wanted to share it. Thanks for all the information here. Good luck!!

@Jenna24

So you are saying that embassy notified you about visa?

Did they notified you via e-mail or phone number?

It is really getting long. A friend of mine 2 years ago got his Annex 46 about 2 months after first application in region Flanders.

Let's hope it will not take so long.

@Jenna24

OMG! I am happy for you! I hope ı will recieve it too.

How did you learn did you call the embassy?

serdary4

@Jenna24

Congrats 👏

You really struggled with the huge stress and finally you got the approval. So enjoy it 🙂

Jenna24

@gulceakt @aldishuli

They notified via my email that they received my Annex 46(RP), and invited me to come to the embassy for the visa as well.

but I think it's not a usual way, I think it's just because I kept asking to the embassy as well as the immigration office so frequently and for such a long time ! thanks

viraj madhiwala

@Jenna24 That's very good news and a tip. Good luck with your new endeavors.

aldishuli

@Jenna24.

Hi Jenna please can you tell the email address you contacted immigration office?

I'm about to ask immigration office for any information about my application.

Thank you in the advance.

@aldishuli,

Not sure why you want to contact the IO when you haven't even received the WP authorization yet. I looked at your timeline, and your application was made only on August 1st.

I'm sorry to say this, but a lot of time hasn't passed yet for you to start worrying about your application. Look at the reported timelines on this forum and extrapolate that data. You will realize that, on average, folks wait up to 18 weeks for their application to be approved. Case in point, @Jenna24 waited 4 months and some change for her application to be completed.

If you must contact the authorities, contact your employer first to contact them. If your employer doesn't, then contact the employment ministry of the regional (Brussels, Flanders, or Wallonia) government, where your application was submitted. You can find their contact information on their website. To reiterate, you have ZERO grounds to contact the IO, if you haven't received the WP first. Once you receive the WP, your application is forwarded to the IO for the RP/Annex 46.

Poolnoodle

How you guys getting work permit details , my employers said it's gonna be single permit that will include both resident and work permit together

aldishuli

@corporateminorista Thanks for the input!

Honestly wat worries me is that I made the application my self, it is me that helped the employer to finish the application 🙂. But now that I follow this thread I see that there may be missing documents by my part like a copy of every page from my passport. So I'm not sure if I did it right and waiting all that time just to know if the application was made correct or not is too much.

You are right by saying that I must contact regional office and not IO office.

It is my first time to do an application like that and for me it was not possible to pay a professional, it was expensive for me.

But like everyone I will wait till time comes.

Does anyone know if there are missing documents, do we have to start from the beginning or just add the missing documents and continue further?

Thanks again and good luck to everyone

aldishuli

@Poolnoodle It is a combined permit, Work + Residence Permit, as you see the other guys have first received the WP and after RP.

My case:

Region: Wallonie.

Application date: June 9th.

No-reply email: June 9th.

Work permit: June 27th.

Annex 46: Still waiting.

Has someone from Wallonie recently received the Annex 46?

@aldishuli

if there is a missing document your employer have 2 weeks to add them to the application. Then the process resume. If your employer fail to add the missing documents in 2 weeks then you got notified that the process is complete and the application rejected.

aldishuli

@Chabonisme Thanks for the info.

From what I have seen in the page form  we have added all the required documents plus some extra. But not all pages of my passport, just first page because this is what was asked in the form.

At this moment I don't know if I can do something else than to wait what they will say.

Best regards

Annex 46 - waiting

mololig

Hello all,

I've been following this forum for a long time. I've got  couple of question about timing but first here is my time line;

Region: Flanders

No-reply email: 27/07

WP: waiting

Annex 46: waiting

Here are my questions;

1- My employer is working with third partner company to follow the visa application.  How you guys are learning that you got the WP?

2- I would like to take an appointment from VFS, however is it better to wait until I received Annex46? Or around when should I take an appointment?

It has been around 7 weeks from application, I might need Schengen Visa to travel to another EU country in mid-December for some sports competition. That is why I would like to understand the timings, like should I apply for touristic Schengen visa to that country while waiting for Annex 46 or can I receive my RP and go to Belgium around December etc. etc.

Hope I could explain myself, good luck to all,

Thank you all in advance

aldishuli

1) it means that the third partner has applied for you and he will get notified and will let you know.

2) I don't understand what is VFS but it is not clear when you get annex 46 (normally you should get it before December)

To have a better understanding about timings just read the above posts in this thread. Some have got annex 46 within 2 months but now it is taking longer due to hi flux of applications

mololig

@aldishuli thank you for the message.

1) So that I should wait for the company to inform me. I was wondering if there is any site/platform you were following up the process?

2) Sorry for the confusion; VFS is "Visa Facilitation Services Global".

Yes I was reading lately, it has been really taking around 4 months.

aldishuli

You can only be notified from your employer and the third company.

For specific questions maybe you can talk with the company who did the application, usually they are specialized in immigration and movements.

Poolnoodle

Do we know which month applications they are on for Flemish region.

When should I probably fix the visa appointment?

aldishuli

@Poolnoodle the best way to know is by telling it here like faracha29.

@faracha29 thanks for letting us know.

Let's hope it will not take too long.

durmazaysegul10

Hello everyone! I am planing to complain about immigration process which takes a lot of months, hopes and money from all of us. It’s not normal that waiting for a job for at least 4 months. And it’s getting worse. I want to do something about that. Any suggestions? Where can I go to complain? What can I do? Thank you

serdary4

@durmazaysegul10

Could you please share your timeline?

durmazaysegul10

@serdary4

I think I shouldn’t if the immigration office  see this i am sure they’re  gonna make me wait 8-9 months. But i can say after a week  it will be almost 4 months since i got the notification mail :( Any succession please? Where can I go to complain about that?

aldishuli

@durmazaysegul10

Don't you have a Working Permit confirmation yet after 4 months?

What region have you applied?

Did you do the application by your self or did it a third person/company and you get in contact with them first?

Have tried to contact the regional office?

Before you go for a complain try contacting the office I would suggest.

Good luck!
